Here’s a digital shot of my Dalek in the grass concept. I took this one to use as a wallpaper.

Summertime
My Ricoh Auto-Half camera takes half frame shots, and I had forgotten that’s what I was scanning. This image is from my scanner trying desperately in auto mode to find a 35mm frame on the film strip I had loaded.
Beaches
I took a stack of images with a few ultra cheap 35mm “Panoramic” cameras that were slightly better than the ones I did the comparison with. These ones had auto-focus and motorised film winders. It turns out the photos were just as bad, but missing most of the interesting vignetting and colouring that the cheaper ones displayed. Coupled with the bad film I used, I was always really disappointed in these shots.
After putting them together, I think I like the result. I turned 5 crappy photos into something I can look at.
Dalek in the grass
This one didn’t turn out as good as I wanted it to, But I like the idea enough to post this in it’s imperfect state.
Mistakes
I made a mistake while developing this roll. As a consequence, all of the shots have a dark band on them. I don’t mind so much, it added quite a bit to a few shots on the roll.
Backwards
This is what happens when you peel the back off an instax picture and wash away the first layer of stuff. This picture is a very high contrast version of what actually comes out.
Boathouse
These little boat houses are littered along the shores of Maroochy river in Maroochydore, QLD, Australia. These old Kodak box cameras take amazingly atmospheric shots, even without the modifications most people make to them.
Taken with my Kodak Brownie Six-20 D on Shanghai GP3 100 120 film.

What happens when you treat your Fuji Instax Mini photos poorly while they are developing? This happens!
